TBWA Brazil

An editorial tribute to creativity and football, born from Brazil’s raw streets.

TBWA/Brazil

The book created for TBWA Brazil was conceived as a tribute to football in its most visceral form, raw, imperfect, emotional, and deeply rooted in the streets.

More than documenting the sport, the project sought to capture everything that lives around it: the noise of the neighborhood pitches, the faded posters on concrete walls, the handwritten chants, the urgency of match day, and the culture that exists far from stadium lights.

Visually, the language draws from street typography, distressed textures, high-contrast photography, and bold graphic interventions. Layouts break traditional editorial rules, mirroring football’s own unpredictability, chaotic, rhythmic, and alive. Each spread feels like a wall layered with memories, scars, and stories told by generations of fans.

The book becomes an artifact of football culture itself, something that feels touched, folded, shouted over, and carried under the arm on the way to a game. A celebration of emotion over polish, instinct over order, and belief over perfection.

The result is a raw editorial expression that reflects TBWA’s disruptive spirit: football not as spectacle, but as identity — born on the streets, shaped by the people, and impossible to silence.
